akzente sprachen automatically collect and store information transmitted to us by your browser in our server log files. These are:

2. Data protection officer

Being individual entrepreneurs, we are not legally obliged to appoint a data protection officer. Nevertheless, we comply with the requirements laid down in data protection legislation.

3. Collection and storage of personal data; type, purpose and use of personal data

If you place an order with us, the following information will be collected:

  • salutation, title, first name, surname
  • address
  • email address
  • telephone number (landline and/or mobile)
  • telefax number if necessary
  • URL if necessary

In addition, all information is collected that is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract / order with you.

Personal data is collected

  • in order to identify you as a customer;
  • in order to be able to advise you appropriately;
  • in order to fulfil our contractual obligations towards you;
  • in order to fulfil our legal obligations;
  • in order to correspond with you;
  • for invoicing or, if applicable, for dunning purposes;
  • in order to assert any claims against you.

Personal data is processed once you submit your inquiry to us. The processing of personal data is necessary for the purposes mentioned for handling your request and for fulfilling obligations arising from the underlying contract/order.

We will store personal data as long as legally required under the duty to preserve business records (6, 8 or 10 years after the end of the calendar year in which the contractual relationship was terminated) and delete it thereafter. This does not apply in exceptional cases if we are obliged to store data for a longer period of time due to tax or commercial law data storage requirements (according to the German Commercial Code - HGB, German Criminal Code - StGB, or German Tax Code - AO) or if you have consented to your personal data being stored beyond this period of time.

4. Passing on data to third parties

As a matter of principle, your personal data is not passed on to third parties except this is necessary for handling your contract/order. This includes in particular the forwarding of data to service providers commissioned by us (generally referred to as data processors) or other third parties whose activities are necessary for fulfilling the contract. The data passed on may be used by third parties exclusively for the purposes mentioned.

Being the data subject that is affected by data processing, you have various rights:

  • Right to withdraw your consent: you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Data processing must no longer be continued in the future on the basis of the consent withdrawn.
  • Right of access to information: you can request information about your personal data processed by us. This applies in particular to the purposes of data processing, the categories of the personal data, if necessary the categories of receivers, the duration of storage, and, where appropriate, the origin of your data.
  • Right to rectification: you have the right to demand from us that any incorrect data stored with us be rectified and that any incomplete personal data be completed.
  • Right to erasure: you may request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, insofar as its processing is not necessary for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for fulfilling a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for asserting, exercising, or defending legal claims.
  • Right to restriction of processing: you may demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted if you contest the accuracy of the data; if the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of your personal data and request the restriction of their use instead. You also have this right if we no longer need the data but if you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
