Obligation to maintain Secrecy
Every interpreter’s maxim is: discretion!
Every interpreter is bound to secrecy with regard to all that he or she learns in connection with an interpreting assignment.
Should a client wish to have separate confirmation signed by the interpreter guaranteeing his or her observance of secrecy, then every interpreter will be pleased to provide such a written assurance.
